Oh No! Police Officers (#40)

First, I have to say that I totally agree with what Joe Gallo said. Sometimes I also really hate when people, who are barely older than I am, act like they are so much better than me.

For this post I chose number forty. Number forty asks from whom are we mostly willing to take orders from. Since this question asked me to choose from a couple of people as answers, I can not really disagree with or agree with the question. But, I can say that I would be most willing to take orders from a police officer.

I would be most willing to take orders from a police officer for a variety of reasons. First of all, I would have totally blanked out if a police officer ordered me to do something because I do not usually get into problems with the police. This means I would have not been able to think over my choices carefully and clearly. Also, if I do get in trouble with the police I would not want to get in more trouble because for not following the police’s orders. Everyone knows that a criminal record is really bad and if you have more it is even worse. Plus, police officers have guns and I do not want to get shot.

I would not be most willing to take orders from my mom, dad or both because I know my parent would not use force against me. Thus, I can argue with my parents and not get hurt in any way. I also would not be most willing to follow orders from religious leaders because, considering all the bad news about misconduct in the church, I would not be the most trusting of what religious leaders say. Also, I would not be the most willing to follow orders made by teachers because I would not get fined or jailed. Lastly, I would not be most willing to take orders from any adult because some adults get into other people’s business, act irritating and sometimes give absurd orders. All in all, though I would not be most willing to take orders from these people in this paragraph, I believe that people still should take some orders only if the orders have some sense in them.
Overall, I think number forty was a very interesting question. It made me, for the first time, think of taking orders in this way. Before, I knew I tended to take orders from one group of people more than other groups, but I never directly and intently thought about which group that I was more likely to orders from.
