#26 Women are more apt to show emotion than men
I completely agree with this statement and being a girl, I often am more open about more emotions than guys are. Females are naturally more emotional because that’s just our genetic make-up. Most guys have this way of thinking that if they show emotion, they will lose their “tough guy” status. When boys were growing up they were told boys don’t cry or are you a girl because only girls cry.
Girls are not afraid or embarrassed to just break down or show they like/care about a guy. Most of the time, I never know what is going through a guy’s head because they rarely show emotion or how they’re feeling on the inside. This past weekend, I was with a few of my friends and we played truth or dare. A guy’s truth question was “ Why do you like so and so?” The guy simply answered because she’s nice and smells good. This doesn’t tell us anything at all. A girl got asked the same question and she answered because his eyes, he’s funny, cute, athletic, nice, and we connect so well. The girl’s answer showed much more emotion than the guy’s.It also showed how she's really feeling on the inside. When it comes to dating and couples, girls are pretty obvious when they like a guy by the way they flirt, spill everything to their friends, and just act around the person. Where as a guy will hold in their feelings and not really show who he likes.
Girl’s feelings are most of the time very obvious compared to a guy. When a girl is upset you can see it on their face. When a girl is on her time of the month, you can sometimes tell with her constant mood swings. When a girl is in love or mad, they’re not afraid to show it. A guy’s feeling rarely show because their emotions and actions are mainly constant. The statement “Women are more apt to show emotion than men” is definitely true. If you were to look around the English class one day and just watch and listen to the girl’s action and compare them to the guy’s, you will be able to tell how the girl is feeling more than the guys.
